Terms and Conditions

By availing any tour and transport services provided by GoCebu, you are entering into a contractual agreement with the agency and indicating your acceptance of the following Terms & Conditions. We strongly advise that you carefully read and fully understand these terms before making any payment towards the travel services. You may request the latest version of the Terms & Conditions from us or access them directly via our website at www.gocebutours.com/terms-and-conditions/.

Tour and Transport Reservation

  • Our tour packages are available for private and joiner tours every day unless specific travel dates are indicated.
  • Booking your tour package is easy! You can reserve your spot online using our booking & payment form or through our Facebook page, Viber, WhatsApp, website chatbox, SMS, or phone call.
  • All rates on our website include value-added tax and surcharges for a comprehensive and transparent pricing experience.
  • Our rates are based on the lowest-priced service for each inclusion, considering possible and mandated discounts.
  • We require advanced booking, with a minimum of one day prior to your preferred travel date for day tours and a minimum of seven days for tour packages and Bohol tours, subject to availability.
  • To confirm your reservation, we require a minimum down payment of 25% for all bookings. Please note that down payments received after office hours will be considered as next-day bookings.
  • You will receive a confirmation email acknowledging your payment and confirming your reservation.


  • A minimum of 25% down payment of the total package is required for GoCebu to process your reservation.
  • Payment can be made through bank transfer, money transfers (e.g., Western Union, Palawan Express, and more), e-Wallets (e.g., GCash & Maya), credit cards, or debit cards through the PayPal gateway.
  • Your booking will not be confirmed until GoCebu receives the down payment and sends a confirmation email to you. If the payment is not received within the specified period, your reservation will be automatically canceled, and GoCebu reserves the right to apply cancellation charges if necessary. Please note that the price is guaranteed upon receipt of the down payment.
  • While money transfer or bank transfer is highly recommended, you can also make an online payment by specifying it during the reservation. An invoice or link to the invoice will be sent to you via email after GoCebu receives your offline reservation form from our Facebook page, Viber, WhatsApp, website chatbox, or phone call. You can use the link to pay using a credit card or debit cards through the PayPal gateway.
  • It is important to review and verify your statement invoice thoroughly, and you should contact GoCebu immediately if your invoice appears incorrect or incomplete. GoCebu cannot accept responsibility if inaccuracies are not notified within 5 days after sending the invoice. In the case of billing errors, GoCebu reserves the right to re-invoice you with the correct pricing.
  • Please note that GoCebu is not responsible for canceled tour reservations if the down payment is not received prior to the travel date.

Cancellations and Refunds

  • In the event of cancellation of a tour booking less than 7 days prior to the tour date, GoCebu will refund 50% of the required down payment. However, if the cancellation is made less than 72 hours before the tour date, the required down payment will not be refunded.
  • GoCebu reserves the right to cancel confirmed tours in the event of natural phenomena or mandated government cancellations. In such cases, Guests will be entitled to a refund, which will be minus 10% service charges, bank fees, transfer fees, accommodation, and other applicable expenses, or they will be able to move their booking to a later date depending on the availability of the tour.
  • Furthermore, GoCebu reserves the right to cancel the tour for any member of the group without a refund if they are found to be physically unfit, such as being intoxicated or unable to participate in the activity once the tour has started. However, we will refund the entrance fee or any applicable expenses if the cancellation is due to a valid illness, such as colds or headaches.

Please note that NO REFUNDS will be provided by GoCebu for the cancellation of other group members, portions of trips missed due to canceled, rescheduled, or delayed flights, or if a passenger is not permitted to travel after airport check-in. GoCebu is not responsible for any additional expenses that you may incur bef ore joining your trip if you miss your flight departure or connection.

Moreover, there will be NO REFUNDS for unused transport, entrance fees, hotels, and tours. In case you have to withdraw from the tour after it has begun due to any reason, we regret to inform you that we will not be able to make any refund for absences from the tour.

Refunds may take up to 15 business days to process, depending on the approval of the Admin.

Booking Changes

Necessary charges or a re-quote may apply for any amendments made to the confirmed reservation or during the tour. Charges may include administrative fees, accommodation costs, transportation expenses, and others.

Confirmed reservations can be transferred to another name or destination, as long as the change doesn’t increase the booking value. We also allow revisions or adjustments if there’s an increase in entrance fees and so on, which guests must cover as per our price policy.

Price and Discount

Our package rates are calculated based on the prevailing rates at the time of publication. At GoCebu, we follow a “No hidden Charge” policy, and the price you see is inclusive of value-added tax and surcharges. However, please note that prices are subject to change without prior notice, and terms and conditions will apply. In the event that any additional fees are incurred, such as government taxes, hotel charges, or changes in rates, we reserve the right to re-price or re-quote the package accordingly.

Discounts for senior citizens and/or PWDs are applicable only to entrance fees and do not apply to car rental/transport rates when accompanied by adults and children. To avail of the discount, Senior/PWD ID must be presented.


Once a booking is confirmed, no refund for the accommodation shall be given for any changes or cancellations received. Guests are responsible for following the hotel policies and should address any issues or complaints concerning the hotel or accommodation to the hotel’s representative for proper assistance.

In the event that the listed hotels have no available rooms, we will inform you and provide alternative options. Please note that the package rate may change depending on the hotel selection and season. We strongly advise that you check the reviews and location of the hotels listed to ensure that they meet your preferences before confirming the package.

No Sightseeing Policy

It is important to note that some activities during the tour, such as whale shark watching, may be canceled due to factors beyond our control, such as unpredictable weather conditions and other environmental factors. In the event of such cancellations, we regret to inform you that transportation charges that have been used will not be refunded. However, any unused boat fees and entrance fees will be refunded.


All tour guests must be in good physical and mental condition to participate in all activities specified in the tour package. Prior to the start of the activity, all guests must attend a briefing/orientation, and a signed waiver must be provided.


The safety and security of our guests are our top priorities. We ensure that all of our tours comply with local laws and regulations. Our experienced drivers and guides are trained to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. We regularly check and maintain our equipment and vehicles to the highest standards and conduct thorough risk assessments to identify and minimize potential hazards. In the unlikely event of any medical emergencies, GoCebu shall not be held liable for the provision of medical care or the adequacy of any care rendered. By agreeing to participate in any of our tours, you also agree to hold GoCebu harmless regarding the provision of medical care or the adequacy of any care rendered.

Privacy Policy

IMPORTANT NOTICE: If someone asks for extra money or charges during the journey, please inform us. We will not be responsible if you pay the amount without our consent.

ACCEPTANCE OF AGREEMENT: By confirming registration and submitting the down payment, GOCEBU TOURS AND TRANSPORT accepts that the guest is agreeing to all terms and conditions stated above.
